Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced System & Network Administrator with hands-on experience in managing enterprise IT infrastructure, networks, servers, end-user systems, and security. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Linux (Ubuntu), Windows, and macOS administration, network configuration and troubleshooting, hardware maintenance, virtualization, backup management, and IT security.
The candidate will be responsible for maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring system availability, security, performance, and providing technical support to employees

Key Responsibilities

Network Administration
    • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, VLAN, VPN, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity.
    • Manage network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
    • Monitor network performance and optimize bandwidth utilization.
    • Implement and maintain network security policies and access controls.
    • Configure and maintain VPN solutions for remote access.
    • Troubleshoot network outages, latency issues, and connectivity problems.
System Administration
    • Install, configure, monitor, and maintain:
    • Ubuntu/Linux Machines and Servers
    • Windows Machines, Servers, and Workstations
    • macOS Systems
    • Perform system upgrades, patch management, and security hardening.
    • Configure and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
    • Monitor system performance and capacity planning.
    • Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions.
    • Manage virtualization environments such as VMware, Proxmox, or similar platforms.
Hardware & End User Support
    • Diagnose and resolve hardware issues related to:
    • Laptops
    • Desktops
    • Servers
    • Printers
    • Network Devices
    • Coordinate hardware procurement, installation, upgrades, and replacements.
    • Maintain IT asset inventory and lifecycle management.
    • Provide technical support to employees for hardware and software-related issues.
Security & Compliance
    • Implement endpoint security, antivirus, and vulnerability management.
    • Conduct periodic security audits and system health checks.
    • Manage MFA, SSO, VPN, and access control mechanisms.
    • Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and industry best practices.
    • Monitor security incidents and coordinate remediation activities.
Monitoring
    • Implement and maintain monitoring tools such as:
    • Grafana
    • Prometheus
